Replacing windows somewhere in the city? Start with a phone call and a clear look at the openings you have.

Chicago housing is not one thing. A brick bungalow on the Northwest Side, a frame two-flat, a greystone with tall front windows and a newer condo building all ask different questions of a window project. The size of the opening, the wall construction behind the trim, and the way the window has to operate all change what makes sense.
That is why we start on the phone. A few questions about the house, the number of openings, and what is actually bothering you usually tells us more than a form ever would. From there we can talk through window styles, materials, and what a realistic project looks like for your home.
Winter drafts around old wood sashes, windows painted shut over decades of repainting, fogged glass from a failed seal, rotted sills, and sashes that will not stay up are the problems we hear about most across the city.
Sometimes the answer is a full replacement. Sometimes it is replacing only the worst openings first and planning the rest for later. We will tell you which one we think fits.

Bungalows, two-flats, greystones, frame cottages, ranches and condo units each get a different conversation.
There is no minimum project. Replacing a single bad window is a normal request.
Call and describe what is happening. You will get a useful answer, not a sales script.

We work across Chicago and the nearby suburbs. Call with your address and we will confirm before anything else.
Yes. A single failed or damaged window is a common job and does not need to become a whole-house project.
Most standard openings are a same-day item once the windows are on hand. Larger or custom openings take longer, and we will say so up front.
